Outfits for you curvy girls!
I know this might not pertain all heavier set girls, but in most cases, to be able to look slimmer, you gotta work your curves! So, you have to be able to cinch in your waist and bring attention to them. These are some ways how!
Outfit 1: For this first outfit, a great way to make your waist look slimmer is with a peplum top. I don’t mean those with a flimsy skirt, I mean one that is bonier, that adds a little bit more flare. In this case, I paired this black lace peplum with some burgundy skinnies. If the top is flowy, the bottom should be fitted; that’s a very important rule to look tailored. For accessorizing, just some black oxfords and playing around with gold tones.
Outfit 2: For this second outfit, this is a VERY easy way to bring out your curves. Pick out any dress in your closet and added a slim/ waist belt - just make sure it is darker than your dress. If it’s lighter then it won’t cinch it to the eye as much. Like here, I paired a brown braided belt with a mustard dress. For accessories, a bronze necklace, knee high socks, combat boots and a purse to match the necklace.
Outfit 3: This is an option that you can go creative with because it works with ALL high-waisted bottoms. Whether it be high-waisted shorts, jeans, or even skirt like here, it will help make you look curvier. I know this one doesn’t look as nice but I love the skirt so much that I had to add it in! I paired this vintage floral skirt with a denim top, making sure the skirt was placed at the smallest part of the waist to accentuate it. Again, just some tights, purple booties and no necklace! Because of the gold tips are the collars.
